TASCAM announced the release of the new DR-40 4-track portable voice recorder. The device is able to record high-quality WAV- and MP3-files on a flash memory card SD / SDHC.
TASCAM DR-40 4-track is equipped with two condenser microphones, a pair of Neutrik XLR ¼ ”inputs, built-in preamps, a speaker, a standard 3.5 mm (audio jack) connector and a high-speed USB 2.0 interface for data backup. The compact recorder is powered by three AA batteries, which last for about 15 hours of working time.
Dictaphone TASCAM DR-40 4-track is priced at $ 199. The package includes a microSD card with a capacity of 2 GB.
