Creative has long been known to us thanks to the Sound Blaster sound card line, which is rightfully considered one of the best audio cards on the market. Creative's decision to produce headsets is understandable and logical. The vast majority of people listen to music from their phones, it is convenient and practical. You do not need to charge and carry 2 devices with you at once. And the quality of audio chips installed in modern smartphones is already at a high enough level to please the user with high-quality sound. True, there is one thing: most often these same smartphones are completed, to say the least, with mediocre headsets. Of course, you can buy individual headphones, but in this case, the process of making calls becomes cumbersome and not very practical. The creative guys decided to fix this annoying flaw and released a line of high-quality Hitz headsets.
Today's review is devoted to the flagship model MA2600. This headset is equipped with overhead headphones, has a flat cable with protection against tangling and a small remote control with volume control and a button for receiving a call. Now let's talk about all this in more detail.
Let's start with the appearance and assembly. Creative Hitz MA2600 look like most modern overhead headphones. The design of them is particularly unremarkable, it is quite restrained and without any frills, everything is as it should be the flagship. The headset is available in two colors: black and white.
The assembly and design of the headset pleased. First, Hitz MA2600 are made from quality materials and perfectly assembled. The headset is covered with skin-like material and has a soft lining; the same material is used to decorate ear cushions. By the way, these same ear cushions fit perfectly to the auricle and contribute to sound insulation, which is not bad by the standards of overhead headphones.
The headset fits perfectly on the head and does not strive to jump off it even during sudden movements, but with all this, the soft backing of the handle makes it comfortable to wear the headset for a long time. In addition, one of the advantages worth noting reliable system of hinges that allow you to rotate the headphones and thus facilitate the transportation of the headset. Of the minuses, I note only the not very practical glossy plastic, from which the headphone bowl is made, this material is very prone to scratches and instantly collects fingerprints on itself. Perhaps, on the white version, scratches and prints are not so noticeable, so I would recommend buying just such an option. Unfortunately, the model MA2600 is available only in two colors.
Well, to finish with the appearance, I will say a few words about the cable. It really does not tangle, and the length of 1.2 meters is enough in most cases. The plug is gold-plated and L-shaped. On the wire there is a good microphone, volume control and a button to answer the call, it can also control the playback of music on the smartphone.
Now the main thing - the sound.
For those who don’t want to go into details, I’ll immediately say that the sound of the Creative Hitz MA2600 produces a sufficient quality sound, and the headphones justify their money. Thank for this you need 40 mm neodymium speakers. Such large speakers can work well low frequencies and do well with high. Mids do not sound so expressive, but quite decent. In general, I would call the sound of the Creative Hitz MA2600 balanced and quite worthy. As for the dry numbers, the claimed frequency range is in the region from 10 Hz to 20 kHz. And the total resistance is 32 ohms.
Summing up, I would like to note that the Hitz MA2600 model is not casual in occupying flagship positions in the Hitz line of headsets. The MA2600 has large neodymium speakers, a well-assembled case, and all this for relatively little money.
