Rock Jaw has been delighting connoisseurs of quality sound for several years with its products combining affordable price and interesting sound. I did some reviews of their models, but today
The first unusual idea in this model was the use of two dynamic radiators, 30 and 50 mm in diameter. Each of them is responsible for their portion of the frequency range of headphones, and according to the developers, this allows Sentio to produce a more voluminous and three-dimensional sound. In the late 70's, such schemes were quite popular, but then the multi-driver models became the exclusive headphones-plugs. So, two-wheel "full-size" models in our time can fully be considered an innovation.
The second interesting idea is the variable acoustic design. Choosing earphones, we always have to think that it is better - the volume and air sound of open models or good sound insulation closed. In Sentio, the developers tried to provide a choice - by turning the cup you can open and close the holes on the outside of the headphones, choosing between different acoustic designs.
Suffice it to pay attention to the Rock Jaw and design - the body of this model is made of aluminum, ear cushions and cable - replaceable, all this inspires faith in the longevity of the model. At the order it is possible to choose some variants of color registration of a headband, and also to make free engraving of the text by choice.
If desired, the headphones can be retrofitted with a portable microphone, which turns them into a gaming headset.
As usual with crowdfunding, headphones are offered at discount prices, the first lucky ones can grab them for 150 pounds (about 215 dollars), which is noticeably less than the price after the release, it will be 250 pounds.
In general, I will follow this model with interest, I hope the project will collect 65,000 pounds, which the developers have set for the goal, and we will be able to actually hear what Rock Jaw got.
