I already wrote about the interesting headphones-inserts of the company Ucotech, received the names of Diva and Grandioso, but on these two copies the production of Koreans is not limited. It's time to tell about three more models of this company: EM905 inserts and IL300 Affetto and IM300 Aise channel models.
Ucotech EM905
from the company is made easier than its more expensive brothers, but nevertheless she has one interesting trump card in her sleeve.

The recommended price of this model of in-ear headphones is 4300 rubles, so they are both easier and more convenient for materials than for older Grandioso and Diva. The headphones are delivered in a simple box of dark green color, inside you will find the liners, a bag for storage, several types of foam nozzles (one-piece and with a hole) and rubber nozzles with elongated spouts. It is these attachments that are the "chip" of the model, allowing you to turn the inserts into a kind of "plugs" for those who prefer this form factor.
Samples EM905 are made of plastic with a soft touch effect, their design is quite interesting, brilliant chrome inserts effectively dilute the strict black color. Cable - unexpectedly high quality, twisted. In the cold, it does not harden, the microphone effect is poorly expressed, on the wire leading to the right earpiece, a one-button headset is placed. Everything is collected very carefully, with careful handling the headphones will serve for a long time.
Sound insulation is typical for form-factor low, although wearing these headphones is very comfortable. With an in-channel nozzle, the sound insulation improves, although still not very high.
The sound can be varied in a very wide range, using different attachments. By default, without foam rubber, the sound of the headphones has a pronounced light character with emphasis on high and high frequencies. The resolution is not prohibitive, but not bad, as well as speed. Bass is very weakly expressed, he plays a purely background role. This sound is suitable for music that requires a volumetric and detailed feed.
Foam nozzles muffle the RF (with a hole - weaker, solid - stronger), the sound becomes more balanced, there is not the most detailed, but more or less normal bass, headphones become a typical averaged model of liners, suitable for most simple styles. Average frequencies do not shine with emotionality, but they remain quite good.
In-channel nozzles give a typical V-shaped with an emphasis on LF and HF, suitable for pop music, electronics and other mass genres. The bass becomes quite a lot, although it is prone to podguzhivaniyu and easy creeping on the MF. HF - light and are punctuated, so if you are sensitive to this range - then this option you will not like.
In general, the inserts are interesting primarily for high-quality performance and tuning of sound, you can vary their sound in a fairly wide range, selecting the appropriate option for you.
Ucotech IM300 Aise
boasts a metal case and a headset with a quality MEMS-microphone. The headphones are available in several interesting colors, their approximate cost is 5700 rubles.

Headphones are supplied in a stylish white box with a window through which the contents are visible. In addition to the Aise, you will get a set of silicone attachments in different sizes, as well as a complex case that you need to assemble yourself. This cover is a parallelogram made of leather, into which the buckles are hammered. Folding it according to the instructions on the inside of the box, you should get a triangular case for storing headphones. Despite my efforts, it did not work for me, apparently my spatial imagination is not sufficiently developed for this.
The headphones themselves are made very well, the case is completely metallic, beautifully painted in a light blue color. In addition to the blue, there are still pink and gold shades.
Cable - wicker, white. It is soft enough, it does not harden in the frost and practically does not make noise from rubbing on clothes, although it can get dirty if worn for a long time. The quality of the assembly of headphones is very good, they will serve a neat owner for a long time. Comfort of wearing is very good, complete attachments allow me to put them in almost any ears. Sound insulation is slightly better than average for this form factor, headphones can be used in a rather noisy environment.
It should be borne in mind that due to the closed acoustic design, when inserting and removing headphones, the diaphragms of the emitters undergo strong pressure. Externally, this manifests itself in a crispy sound and can cause a membrane to jam when handling negligently, so take care with these headphones, do not put them in and pull them out too sharply (however, this advice applies to all other headphones).
By sound, the headphones are made dark, with a bias on the bass, but without very wild inflections. Of course, the bass in the submission of this model dominates, but not at the expense of total oppression of other frequencies.
LF - accented quantitatively, but they are not as loud as most "bass" models, there is elasticity and texture, although not very noticeable due to the number of low frequencies that the headphones play per unit of time. In addition, on active parts, the bass creeps to medium frequencies, but this is unavoidable for the bass headphones evil.
The midrange range has a good resolution, especially noticeable in those moments when it does not jam the bass. The headphones are good in conveying both the emotional component and the nature of the instruments (of course, with a correction for the price and a general dark pitch). The imaginary scene, typical of dark headphones, is small.
Separately, I want to say thanks to manufacturers for the upper frequencies. Usually the HF band in similar headphones or drowned completely, so as not to frighten the RF fobs, or, conversely, accentuate to create a counterweight to the forced low frequencies. Here the developers avoided both extremes, HF is, although reserved for the second plan. This allowed the headphones to keep a relaxed, unsharp sound, without becoming completely deaf bugs.
The microphone in the headset is very high quality, it is favorably different from the typical inexpensive solutions used in most headphones.
In general, these headphones are an example of a sufficiently high-quality solution for intelligent bassheads, a lot of fairly dense bass is combined with normal middle frequencies, making earphones a successful choice for popular music oriented to bass.
Ucotech IL300 Affetto
from the Korean company amazes the imagination with just one box. Large packaging with additional plastic protection from the outside immediately adjusts to a serious harmony.

The most expensive headphones in the IEM-form factor in the portfolio of the company, their approximate price is 11 000 rubles, so for their design, Ucotech came up with the utmost diligence. A solid box of solid cardboard is hidden in the plastic box (a similar approach is used in the older model of the Grandioso liners). This large box is opened sideways, like a large box, opening access to the contents. Inside there is not so much space, so the dimensions are just a way to show the premium status of the headphones, and the package copes with this task.
Inside, you will find the headphones themselves, an unusual but convenient hybrid cover and coils for reeling in headphones, many different attachments (all single-flange) and a set of gluing filters for decreasing HF.
Affetto made quite seriously, the body resembles Aise, but there are no cheerful colors, exceptionally solid bronze color. In addition, the older model is noticeably heavier (which walls, are they, are thicker to counter resonance?). The cable is black, the same twisted and soft, but this time no headset, headphones are made strictly for serious sources. Everything that concerns the convenience of wearing and soundproofing is similar to the previous model.
But when you switch to sound, everything becomes even more interesting. To begin with, I had to tinker a lot to get from this model what it really is capable of. Firstly, they really need warm-up, and at least 48 hours, rarely when this is really necessary for headphones, but this is exactly the case. Secondly, the HF filters in the kit - a very necessary thing, the headphones are by default clearly tuned to the Asian market and listeners with love for the upper frequency range. The gluing of filters perfectly adapts this model to typical Europeans. Thirdly, the selection of nozzles is necessary, my best result was given by dense nozzles with foam filler (in the set there are none, I do not remember where I got them from).
After all these manipulations, it becomes clear that the potential of the Ucotech IL300 is, and the potential is quite considerable. The headphones will appeal to fans of LF, first of all, but, unlike the younger model, here it's not just pumping the number of bass, but really lashing and dense beats that are worthy of the best IEM samples. Sometimes it even seems that they are playing hybrid headphones with a separate driver on the bass.
The bass, of course, is not as fast as the armature, but very fast for dynamic radiators. At the same time, it retains the density and elasticity typical for the "dynamo", which allows the headphones to work well for strikes and attacks on the bass. Separation of instruments is almost not enough, but this is due to the fact that the headphones just need to win back the elasticity, and blows can be superimposed. In general, the LF of these headphones is not audiophile, but very, very tasty for music lovers who love this range.
Medium frequencies are good, not prohibitive, but very decent. They are not jammed by low frequencies, they are quite detailed and elaborated, they convey the emotions and character of instruments. Sometimes there is a feeling of a little tint of this range, but it fits into the overall supply of this model and does not cause rejection, just gives a "smart" sound. The imaginary scene is medium in width and slightly less than average in depth, quite good results for LF-oriented headphones.
HF, as I wrote above, had to be muted by a filter. This leads to some simplification of this range, but in general, too, nothing critical, no sharpness, a strong friability of the sound is also not observed. With the task of giving air to the records of high-frequency data of headphones are quite manageable.
For these headphones need a source that is better than a normal smartphone or tablet, especially important is the control of low-frequency range. To the quality of the records, they are quite uncritical, somewhere 7 points out of 10. They are genre-wise universal, if you like energetic and "festive" presentation with an emphasis on bass.
conclusions
I really love companies that are ready for experiments, because without bold ideas and interesting concepts we will not have unexpected breakthroughs, and the whole industry will be stuck in the swamp of naked marketing. Ucotech is experimenting tirelessly and quite unexpectedly. Let they have not yet turned out loud breakouts, most of their models - quite interesting and, perhaps, is able to find their connoisseurs.
