That's what I did not expect - so to see inside the box something like this (when I first studied the box, I simply did not pay attention to the picture of its contents). Keep the headset in such a trunk is very convenient: small details are not exactly lost, the device will be protected from dust and moisture, and transportation in this form is much more practical. In a word, the availability of such an excellent case in my package was incredibly satisfying.

The power of the speakers is expectedly impressive, so about the volume reserve you do not have to worry. But here we should immediately make a reservation: the headset is demanding on the source of the input signal. It's not surprising when resisting in a crazy 60 Ω. Want to get the most out of the device - be prepared to provide him with a quality input signal, passed through the amplifier. Of course, you can use the HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset with gaming consoles and even with a PC, but the real sound will be revealed only when the headset is connected to a high-quality signal source. However, if you do not consider yourself an audiophile (I do not really think of myself as such), you can enjoy this device in any situation.
Velor ear pads not only nicely complement the complete set of the headset, but also will please you on hot nights, when you will fight for hours on the line shoulder to shoulder with your friends. Sound insulation in this case will be somewhat worse than using the leather ear cups, but your ears will thank you for additional ventilation. At any time you can change your ear pads yourself. It will be difficult only for the first time. When you master the process of "dressing up", doing this will not be more difficult than tying shoelaces.

As for the sound of the headset, I tested it in the field on the PlayStation 4 console (I simply did not have an adapter for the Xbox One controller), on my desktop computer, laptop, or in conjunction with the iPhone 6. In games, the headset outperforms the most daring expectations. The positioning of the sound is so precise that it sometimes seemed that the developers are deceiving us, and in each cup there is not one speaker hidden at all, but all four, as in the more expensive 5.1 headsets. You will hear opponents long before they appear in your zone of visibility. Now sneaking up to you unnoticed will be simply impossible. The sound is deep, juicy, crystal clear, which makes it even more fun to play.
A pleasant surprise awaited me also in the case of listening to music and watching movies. The device is not aimed at reaching these directions and, above all, is geared for video games. Nevertheless, HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset adequately demonstrated itself when performing the tasks listed above. Surprisingly, lossless music sounds in the headset just fine. During the testing, I flew to music worlds for several hours and spent this time with my favorite performers and collectives: Cocteau Twins, ONUKA, Pur: Pur, Oh Wonder and many others.
