The company Takstar has long won a very successful market niche, offering customers various audio equipment at very affordable prices. Microphones or, for example, mixing consoles do not fall into the zone of my interests, in contrast to the headphones that Takstar also produces. Today I will tell about their model, which received the HD 6000 index.
This model is one of the most expensive in the company's portfolio, its retail price is about $ 75. These headphones are positioned as "DJ's", hence the closed acoustic design, a large dynamic radiator, orientation to LF and rotating cups. What will the potential buyer of this model get?

Packing and delivery kit
The box for this model was made very stylish. The main part is made of bright green cardboard, on top is a dust jacket with a good polygraphy. Inside the box is divided into two sections: one contains the HD 6000 itself, in the other - a box with accessories. To the headphones you will receive: an instruction and a warranty card, a pouch for storage, a wire extension for 4 meters and an adapter for 6.3 mm. In general, accessories are not regretted.
Design and comfortable wearing
For their price these Takstars look good. They are almost entirely made of plastic, but the plastic is very high quality, with a pleasant soft-touch effect. The design of the headphones is quite typical, but there are a number of details showing that the company thought about the design: forks forming a ring with a ledge on the cup, an unusual "wave" on the outside of the cup, green inserts and much more. Despite the lack of metal in the design, the headphones do not produce the impression of flimsy. Sometimes, when using them, there is a slight creaking, but with the exception of this, there are no problems with the assembly. The model exists in two color variants: black with a green insert and coffee-brown.
The cups rotate around different axes, in addition, they can be folded "inside" for transportation. The ear pads are soft enough and comfortable, their size is enough for almost any ears, but the headband can quite significantly pressure on the head.
To adjust the size, the traditional "ratchet" is used, here it is of medium stiffness. Owners of large heads these headphones will be almost end-to-end. To ensure good sound insulation, the developers have made the HD 6000 quite strong clamp. In addition, because of the closed form factor in these headphones, the ears can be slightly overheated, so every couple of hours of listening is worth taking a break.
The wire is of moderate thickness, it is normal in rigidity, it does not make noise from rubbing against clothes. The length of the standard cable is 1.2 meters, but there is a 4-meter extension cable.

Before listening to the headphones were warmed for 96 hours.
For this model, Takstar made a "typical" modern sound with accented low frequencies and slightly underlined high frequencies, but the overall delivery of this model - tends to dark sound. If you take into account the price and the target audience, then the sound of the headphones is quite normal - the underlined midbass, compensated HF, is well suited for modern pop music, electronics and related genres.
If you approach the HD 6000 from a more "audiophile" point of view and do not take into account the price, the situation is approximately the same.
Bass - underlined, with a pronounced emphasis on midbass, it is determined to dominate in melodies, although not prohibitively, to my ears, this is just the limit allowed for flavoring headphones. Speed, of course, average, LF is not mega-selective, but not completely smeared. Texture is not worked out in the best way. Deep bass is present, but it is not well-formed, its main task is to emphasize the power of midbass.
Middle frequencies are expectedly put on the back burner, and also slightly muffled by LF, because of this they do not possess the best legibility, but, again, they will not be called bad at all, so, somewhere for 4 minus. The scene is typical for budget-capped headphones, below the middle and in width, and in depth. Tools are placed closer than they should be in reality, their sizes are less than natural ones.
I have long tried to come up with some kind of epithet for HF of this model, but they are also "normal", not completely bad, but they are also not good enough to be absolutely good. Developers have well balanced them quantitatively, but they do not have enough elaboration and after-sound.
Compatibility
Since the headphones have their characteristic sound handwriting, their use with high-level players is not particularly justified, on the other hand, 60Ω impedance - not all modern phones can. Therefore, the HD 6000 will be an optimal choice for entry-level players with a price of up to $ 100 or phones with a good audio track (fortunately, there are many such).
Due to the pronounced emphasis on LF, headphones are optimally suited for popular mass genres of music. Complex styles are directly contraindicated. To the quality of recording, they are very tolerant, on a 10-point scale, I would rate them somewhere around 3.

Takstar HD 6000 - a good choice for those who listen to simple music and mostly on the go. There will also be a closed acoustic design, and an emphasis on LF. For connoisseurs of more sophisticated music and lovers of listening to her at home, there are more neutral models in the person of Pro80, Hi2050 and Takstar 671.
