If the first artillery shell, whistling overhead, exploded somewhere behind, and the second, not flying, banged ahead, only the optimistic optimist can enjoy the misses, because the third shot is likely to hit exactly in the middle. As often happens in the world of audio, and this is perfectly demonstrated. The EN700 was an interesting but bright sound model, followed by the EN700 Bass, also good, but slightly darkish, imposing, and now, finally, we have the EN700 Pro.
In Simgot from the first time managed to make an excellent design of headphones and find a good radiator for use in them. Then followed a series of experiments with tuning, changing the overall "pitch", which resulted in the model EN700 Bass. The company decided to further improve the sound and released an updated version, called the EN700 Pro and, in addition to changes in sound, equipped with a replacement wire. The headphones were a bit more expensive, but in general remains still quite humane for the initial-middle segment.

Packing and delivery kit
With a box at Simgot, everything was always very cool, and in the pro version it got even better. Purely black "cover" looks better white, complementing the main box of black cardboard. Inside are the headphones, cable, two sets of nozzles for 3 pairs in each (sizes in the range), a classy leather case and a brush for cleaning the headphones.
Different attachments, like in the previous versions of headphones, offer a different sound, which is actually reduced to two options: "more bass" and "less bass".
Design and comfortable wearing
In full accordance with the principle "from the good of good are not looking," in Simgot decided not to change the appearance. This is a sound idea, because why give up one of the best design options in the IEM? The headphone cases are made of metal, they have an interesting oval shape, and the outer side is decorated with a decorative grill, resembling a HiFiMan HE-1000. Produced "700 pro" in several colors, including pairs of different colors (red right, blue left), so that lovers of delicacies have plenty to choose from.
The headphones, of course, are designed for BTE wearing, to put them down by cable if possible, it is very difficult (I would not undertake it). Due to the absence of sharp corners and a smooth form, they sit comfortably enough in the ears and do not cause the slightest hassle. The sound insulation is approximately average, maybe slightly better than the typical for the form factor. In other words - for the street or ground public transport it is quite enough, but in the subway or airplane - no longer.
The plug-in wire directly implied in these headphones in the last modification, but they did it only this time. In Simgot came to the conclusion that MMCX-connectors are not reliable (and in some cases they are right), and they used a normal two-pin connector of very good quality. It is moderately tight, so the headphones keep well, but it can still be disconnected without the typical for some models "grandmother for the grandfather, the grandfather - for the cable ...". The wire is made very qualitatively, it is moderately soft, practically devoid of microphone effect and does not harden in the frost. For this price category, the cable looks exceptionally good (the splitter and plug are worthy of praise), and inside is not bad. The developers used hybrid conductors consisting of copper and silver-plated (but also copper) veins, they said, it is the cable that we should be grateful for the improvement of sound.

Before listening to the headphones were warmed for 48 hours.
As in the past, the headphones were equipped with two sets of attachments, which can be divided into "bassy" and "balanced". With EN700Bass I liked exactly those that add LF, but with the Pro-version of the headphones it's better to use the "usual" ones, they more fully emphasize the step forward made by the company in the field of high-frequency and high-frequency bands.
The bass of this model is still a little accentuated and very slightly smoothed to create a pleasant effect of warmth. The emphasis is on the middle part of the low-frequency range and the area preceding it. Lovers of uterine deep layers of LF data headphones will not work, because despite the fact that the lowest part of the audible range is present here, it is not aggressive, so as not to draw attention to itself. High-speed characteristics of low frequencies are not prohibitive, but the resolution is normal for a given price category, as does the transmission of textures. The developers did not set a goal to make superhlustkie LF, but the speed of the bass is still slightly better than EN700 Bass, so the "proshki" are less imposing and sometimes even capable of depicting barkiness.
The midrange range is also smoothed a little, but work has been done to ensure that this smoothness does not interfere with the headphones sound naturally. A small increase in naturalness in the upper part of the mid-range gives the sound of EN700 Pro realism in the transfer of the character of instruments and vocals, and also helps the voices to sound more emotional. On brutal styles, the rudiments of aggressive feed have been pierced, although this depends heavily on the selection of the source. The imaginary scene is slightly larger than the average in width, with a good separation of instruments, in depth it is medium in size, but the separation of plans is very natural.
The upper frequency range (the lower part of it) also became a little more natural, with a slight emphasis on the bass version, which moved higher, because of this the HF began to sound slightly more effective, although not always this additive is perceived naturally (although in most cases it still appropriate). There is not a superhigh resolution of high-frequency, which is typical for the reinforcing and hybrid models, but the "top" here sounds comfortable and pleases with a good separation of the "layers".
By tradition, this section will not do without comparisons
Ostry KC06A . Almost a legendary model, sold countless times, offers a more colored sound with a greater emphasis on HF and lower bass control. In addition, Simgot also outperforms the "six" in the naturalness of MF, but it is difficult to expect other results with an almost twofold difference in price.
Ostry KC09 . A recent step forward for Ostry allowed them to make one of the best models of the near future. By the sound of the "Nines" are more collected in comparison with the EN700, they offer better LF resolution and slightly more pressed HF for those who do not like this range (but in 09 everything depends heavily on the baits).
Meze 12 Classic . IEM from Meze more aggressively transmit HF, so their feed is perceived more V-shaped, but in fact this is an apparent effect. So 12 sound "drive", while 700 Pro offer a more relaxed sound.
Dunu Titan 1 / FiiO EX1 . Classic genre monitor IEM initial-middle segment offers a more neutral feed without accenting any parts of the range. "Titans" are better in resolution and more neutral, but their straight-forward VChR and open acoustic design like not everyone.
Simgot EN700 Bass . I have already described the difference between the two generations of these headphones, but once again it will not hurt to sum it up. "Proshki" offers faster bass and more emotional VSH, sounding more natural than the previous generation.
Compatibility
In fact, 16 Ohm impedance is not enough in our time of powerful players. However, this is largely compensated by the normal sensitivity, so in most cases these headphones are tolerant to the background noise of the amplifier (although exceptions, of course, are). They can be used with smartphones / tablets, but I would still recommend the player to the initial segment or a little bit higher, for some reason the kit from Simgot EN700 Pro and Caiyn N3 is sold here, the latter even with a modified, improved design.
Stylistically, headphones are universal, but best of all they reveal themselves on pop, jazz, good blues and classic fatal things. Also, some chamber compositions and vocals sound pleasant with them. To the quality of the record, they are slightly more critical of their predecessors, somewhere on the 7th by a 10-point scale.

Phil Collins - Another Day in Paradise . Of course, Collins's solo career, in my opinion, is inferior to what he did in Genesis, but my subjective view does not cancel the objective hit of his solo works, and "Another Day in Paradise" clearly refers to his most famous works. Simgot EN700Pro, by the way, perfectly show the advantages of the remaster of 2016: more saturated HF, giving the music more volume and three-dimensionality, are well played out with headphones, and slightly relaxed LFs fall into the "general outline" of the track.
Theater of Tragedy - And When He Falleth . In the indefinitely far 96th year the idea of a combination of pure female vocal and male growl in metal was not just original, but also gave freshness to the beautiful find. Until the moment "Tarja came and brought everything to tediousness" there were still several years, and ToT were among the innovators of the genre. To honor the musicians it is worth noting that the album is surprisingly well recorded and even without a remaster (still made in 2013) sounds quite normal, which is confirmed by EN700Pro.
Placido Domingo - La Donna e Mobile . This is what is absolutely good for streaming services, so this is the speed of realization of desires. I decided that in this collection of tracks there should be something known from opera classics, a few minutes - and the track was chosen. A few more minutes to choose a performer - and voila, with us Placido Domingo and the London Symphony Orchestra. Of course, let's be frank, for this music we need headphones of the top segment, but the EN700 Pro does not hit the dirt in the face, playing, maybe not perfect, but enough for enjoying the music level. And it is on this track that the difference between this and the previous generation of Simgot headphones is clearly visible, on the "bass" this track does not sound so hot, but "prosshki" no longer cause sharp censures.
conclusions
Perhaps, on this model Simgot can stop in "dopilivanii" line EN700, I do not think that this idea can be something else to squeeze, because the EN700 Pro offer a beautiful version of a slightly relaxed, but natural sound for connoisseurs of such a presentation, putting it in a stylish metal housing with a quality replacement wire.
