Somehow in itself, it turned out that in the initial segment of the market of full-size headphones, the ball is ruled not by the best in sound models. Ambitious novelties, which can please connoisseurs of the audio component, are lost against the background of everything else. Therefore, any well-sounding model is worth its weight in gold, and this is exactly what we are talking about today. Meet the Sound Warrior SW-HP10s.
Despite the rather pathetic and loud name, the products of Shiroshita belong to a very accessible segment and are not meant to impress pathetic packaging or glamorous stars in advertising. Because with a very modest price tag about 160 dollars, headphones sound quite sound.

Here everything is totally simple. The box is made of ordinary yellow cardboard with a minimum of polygraphy, inside the bag are headphones and ... in general, that's all. You buy headphones? Well, here they are!
Design and comfortable wearing
The appearance is also maximally simple and utilitarian, made by SW-HP10s entirely from simple, slightly rough plastic black, no inserts of rare wood species or, say, exquisite Alcantara. The developers decided to go by the way of maximum simplicity and functionality - everything is done simply, but reliably, the headphones do not creak, do not play anything and do not hang out. This model is very compact and lightweight, which makes it a successful candidate for a street portable.
Headband and ear cushions are made of a very pleasant soft imitation leather. If the upper arc of the headphones is quite standard, then the ear pads are more interesting - they are an intermediate variant between the covering and overhead modifications. Their ears touch, but the outer part completely covers the auricle. At first it causes an unusual sensation, but you quickly get used to it and discomfort almost does not deliver it, however, it is better to try them on personally to assess whether this option will suit you. Of the advantages of this solution, we can note a better soundproofing than that of overhead models.
As with any closed headphone model, after a couple of hours in the SW-HP10s the ears overheat, so it's better to take small breaks (they will also be useful for hearing).
The wire is not replaceable, but it is thick enough and does not cause doubts in its reliability, it is connected to one cup, the connection point is protected by a rubber insert.
In general, judging by the design, Shiroshita created this model primarily as a street portable, in this role they are good, but in the office or at home they will also be quite appropriate.

Before listening to the headphones were warmed for 48 hours, small changes in the sound were only at the very beginning of warm-up.
If you take into account the price - the SW-HP10s sound just fine, nice bass, live midrange, untangling HF ... Of course, comparison with more expensive models will show "who's who", but it's silly to expect otherwise at a price difference several times. So - I will not compare incomparable.
Bass is good by permission, although there is a slight smoothening - it does not merge into a monotonous rumble. LFs are well controlled and do not muffle the midrange, remaining in place even in bass-saturated compositions. Also, the bass pleases and depth, but the deepest layers want to add more control. The study of textures is normal, headphones confidently build the basis of the rhythm section.
MFs are submitted without bias in analyticity, the resolution is good for its price. SW-HP10s are practically devoid of gags, so do not expect any "color" of the midrange band from them - you will hear exactly what's in the record. The imaginary scene is more average for closed models in width and somewhere in the middle, headphones do not try to create an artificial volume effect.
HFs generally are pleased with the resolution, but their attacks are slightly smoothed to create a more comfortable sound, sharpness and unnecessary accentuation of the sibilant area here really is not observed. Of course, the SW-10s are devoid of "luxury", characteristic for models at a price several times higher in 3 above, but they do not need this - it's still a street everyday model.
Compatibility
Headphones can also be used with simple sources like tablets and smartphones (with the exception of very weak models), but they have growth potential, so the player of the initial-middle level will be a good companion for them.
Stylistically, the headphones are versatile enough (of course, adjusted for the price segment), they are tolerant to the quality of the record, on a 10-point scale, I would rate their scores by 5.

Let Knogos live and create in the US, but, unlike their more famous compatriots from Die Antwoord, they play a wonderful alternative rock - drive and pulling into the dance. With headphones, which are devoted to this review, this music sounds very lively and incendiary - juicy SO and a musical bass - just what you need.
Alestorm - Drink . Let for the brutal styles of metal HP10s will not be the best choice (for this genre in general it is necessary to select a very expensive path for a very long time), but for the rash things a la this hymn to pirate alcoholism (not only Korpiklaani about it to sing), these headphones are quite suitable: drive , power and fun are provided.
Ultra Vomit - Pink Pantera . This collection as a whole came out pretty brutal, not because the HP-10s are directly ideal for such styles, I just could not miss this epic release. Any connoisseur of metal is simply obligated to get acquainted with the creativity of these French people. 22 short tracks of an intelligent and very funny parody of the recognized "pillars of the genre", but still qualitatively recorded (in which Sound Warrior can be seen) - what else is necessary for happiness, then?

Very interesting model in its price category, favorably different in sound from most direct competitors. Of course, this is not the killer of the giants, the same SW-HP20, being the elder brother of this model, offer a more adult sound, but the price tag is twice as high, and the SW-HP10s is still the model of the initial price segment and the model is successful.
