For many, Dunu does not need to be introduced. Someone knows her as an OEM manufacturer, others have had time to try her own line of headphones, for example, we told about a budgetary one, for example. The company began its journey as an atypical "Chinese" - she immediately began to experiment with complex hybrid models. And today we will talk immediately about two such versions.
The first pancake did not come off Dunu with a lump - four-drivetrain hybrids DN-2002 came out last year and turned out to be very interesting headphones. Two large dynamic drivers for this model are used for bass transmission, and the remaining two reinforcing radiators are for medium and high frequencies, respectively. As expected, the cost of headphones turned out to be no less impressive, but they are worth it.
In the same year, the company launched the DK-3001, which became a real breakthrough and the coolest in the history of the manufacturer. Dunu combined four different types of radiator, placed them in a beautiful ergonomic body (along with this, of course, raised the price), and today we can listen to them.

In both cases, a stylish black (white) box hides a box of the same color, where the headphones and the comfortable plastic box with the latch are placed in the velvet where all the necessary accessories have been put. The DN-2002 includes 3 pairs of single-flange silicone attachments, earhooks, a pair of Comply foam nozzles, a clothes clip, a 6.3 mm adapter and a four-size sachet with SpinFit attachments.
The Dunu DK-3001 is slightly richer. Two cables (balanced and standard), the same plastic case, an "air" adapter for two monojacks, an adapter for 6.3 mm, a pair of Comply foam nozzles, four pairs of SpinFit (one on the headphones), three pairs of white and gray baits (yes, the sound is really different in them). In general, it is difficult to say that they did not put it here.
Appearance
DN-2002 are made in a round case with a long smooth sound source, the headphones are made of metal and plastic. Landing for many will seem strange - not only is the method of wearing BTE, so also wearing these headphones is more convenient by cable down. This method does not cause discomfort, although it looks unusual.
Headphones deep into the ears and provide decent sound insulation, with foam nozzles so in general beauty. The wire is interchangeable with MMCX connectors, but due to small protrusions on the plugs, you can not connect any cable to them. The original Dunu - no problem. The wire is thick, but soft enough, with a weakly pronounced microphone effect.
In DK-3001, Dunu engineers took into account the wishes of users and made headphones with one of the most convenient "landings". A flat disc with corner ducts hides three reinforcing radiators and one 13-mm dynamic driver, and it is sometimes difficult to believe how in such a relatively small package could accommodate all this splendor.
There is almost no plastic here - the body is made entirely of steel, due to what the headphones became slightly heavier - 31 grams versus 24 grams for DN-2002, the build quality is traditionally at the highest level. Wearing a zaushnoe, but with a wire down, like the 2002 model, this one will not be worn (however, in this case it is not required). To put it bluntly, the convenience of wearing the DK-3001 bypasses its predecessor. The soundproofing is average, the headphones are almost identical in this parameter. On the street and at home - yes, in the metro - it is possible.
The difference is in the cable. This model also uses the standard with MMCX connectors, but due to the lack of protrusions the cable in this case can be selected by any. Very pleased with the bundled cable with 2.5 mm TRRS, and not all this is a disgrace with a built-in microphone.
Sound
Both pairs of headphones were heated for 48 hours before listening, we connected them to the MacBook Pro Retina 2012, as well as to the audio player Fiio X3 II. The first impression is that DN-2002 focuses on middle frequencies, the upper edge and deep low frequencies are deliberately omitted. If you forget about not the most convenient landing, then their only disadvantage compared to the DK-3001 is the lack of spectacularity, three reinforcing radiators play their part in the latter.
The DK-3001 has a slight emphasis on low frequencies, but at the same time, the transition to a more neutral sound is traced. The middle frequencies are "transparent", and the upper frequencies are as detailed and saturated as possible. In both cases, you should not forget that much depends on the baits: Comply, for example, slightly mute the high-frequency and high-frequency range, and SpinFit - emphasize the ends of the frequency range.

What to choose
Dunu DN-2002 - "adult" headphones, which provide a natural sound. There is no excessively deep bass and bright high frequencies, but it is not necessary. DK-3001 slightly outperform the sound of its predecessor, as well as the convenience of wearing, but somewhere they lose - to determine exactly, both models must first be tried and heard by themselves. The price in both cases is high, but the quality of assembly and sound completely correspond to it, and somewhere they exceed it. Especially if Dunu was doing a "wrap-up" for the brand, the cost would have grown at least 1.5 times.
